Get an odd issue, when creating envelopes, after I click on the Insert Address button, and select the outlook profile and then select the address word crashes.
But if I have outlook open and do the same it works fine. Any idea?

I checked the event log and it for when word crashes it does so, winword casues errro in mspst32.dll and other times it does ntdll.dll

I had tried doing are repair of office 2007 but still the issues remain.

Office 2007 and Windows XP SP3 are all up to date

I had tried coping the file of the office install cd, actually i renamed the "bad" one and then did the repair of office, from control panel -> add/remove programs selected office and clicked on change, there it gave me the option of doing repair

I had though of the pst corruption as well but it outlook itself works fine. also the fact that if I open outlook before doing the envelopes it works fine too .... thats why im confused.

Maybe one of your add-ins?

Open Word 2007.
Click on the office button (Extreme top left corner of the screen) and
select Word options.
Click on the trust center tab to select trust center settings.
Click on the add-ins tab and check the option for disable all application
add-ins.
Click on ok twice to exit to the blank document.
Close Word and reopen again.
Try clicking on Outlook contacts and reply if Word crashes.

If it fixes it you can then go through your add-ins to see which one is causing the
problem.
