Word 2003 not printing verticle lines

I am working with this document that has two thin verticle lines on the left side of the page, and line numbers (numbers to the left of the line for each line in the doc) to the left of the lines that go down the page (it's a law doc). For some reason, when I print this doc with one computer, the lines don't print, but the numbers do. But when I print it to a different computer and print the same exact doc to the same printer, the lines and numbers both print.

Obviously it's a setting.

Suggestions?
