Word 2000 and form tools problem.... HELP !!!

Ok, so all I did was insert some text boxes with 2 radio buttons each to select on/off.

texttexttexttexttexttexttexttexttext on off

Only I did this down the word doc about 10 times.

I cant seem to be able to save it properly.

I want to be able to send it to people, and have them enter text/select on/off.... and save or send it back to me.

It always open in "design mode" unless I protect it, which renders it completely useless (no text can be entered)

I know this is a quick fix, but I am new to form tools.

Can anyone help me ?

Try this, open up the form make any changes then turn off the design mode I also close the toolbar since I don't use it docked then save the document.

I can't tell you how many times I have done something in excel or word and when I finish I am in a hurry to save and I leave it in design mode then when I open it to use the first time it opens in design mode.

Oh how I wish it were that easy.... but I have done that EXACTLY.... and it opens in design mode still the same.

Could there be an option to have this open in design mode ?

An option I can deselect or something ?

Just for kicks, I emailed to my wife (who NEVERS uses design mode) and it opens in design mode.... sigh....

I'm going crazy here .....
