WOOT! Under a Tornado Watch....

And looking at the radar I got a big storm that I might be in the path of 😱
Nothing like tornados in fall :/
I am kinda worried but my wife and son went shopping this morning and I hope where ever they are at will be ok if something should go down.
I have a full basement so if there is one Im going to grab some video and then high tail it downstairs 😀

Not cool was windy as all hell when I started writing this now there is no wind.
Gotta go look.

EDIT

Just went through 2 warnings. The first one hit a few places and knocked out windows and roofs less then a mile away from us. We heard nothing. The wind quit, droped 10 degrees, and was very quiet when we were told that the tornado was spoted 8 miles from us till the time it actually made it into our town. South of us are alot of trees down, fires, and blosked roads. All of this fun and it is fall???? WTF!

We missed one heck of a bullet twice so far and have whats looks to be another cell heading our way just as bad. Yeah for more basement fun 😀

I have video of the wind and how the day progressed up to the point of what it looked like when the warning sirens went off fo rthe first time. Look at the sky whle the were going off didnt look to bad but few minuts after making it downstars it was lightning pretty bad with alot of wind then when the in down a tornado was on the ground heading our way it all went still.

If you can put the video up and have a way I can get it to you Id be happy to share. It was taken with my digital camera so file is not to big.

WHEW. Man I was all worried. Well when the Thunderstorm makes it here I will make sure to stand in the middle of the field and fly a big kite I made from a blanket. Has a 8 foot wing span but I doubt in the 40+ winds I will be taken off the ground or killed by a lightning strike 😀
