I just got new cell phones yesterday for myself and my wife... went with Verizon for the plans, picked up a pair of V325i's. NICE phones... not exactly what I wanted but they're still very nice.

My gripe... why the hell do you have to PAY for all the games on them? First thing I looked for was the games... Tetris, backgammon, solitaire, SOMETHING. Instead, I get a screen that says "Get It Now..." And after a bit of further research, it turns out you have to literally PAY for everything. WTF? This is going to make my trips to the bathroom much less enjoyable.

i eventually gave up and forked over the $6.99 for chess, and #2's have been much more fun ever since.

But i don't think others like waiting for me so much 😛
 
I have a glitch on my e815 that allows me to redownload timed demos of games and programs. It might work on other motorola phones.

first, go to get it now > settings > manage apps > and delete the demo (if installed)

press
menu 073887*

000000 ok

get it now config > ads > change to test apps

go into get it now

go back into 073887* and change the ADS back to default

download demo again.

Its good for MyCast weather and poker i play occasionally

Unfortunately VZW is CDMA, so that doesn't help much. Poured through Howard already... found some info, but now I need to "obtain" Motorola Phone Tools...

And yes, AnyMal, didn't you know FL is in the North East now??? 😛 Actually, I was going to go with Cingular, except honestly, well, I prefer Verizon (being that I've ALWAYS had excellent customer service with VZ).
