I ordered a new processor last week, Athlon XP 2800+ "Barton", for my computer thinking it would work with my current motherboard. After spending 30 minutes trying to get it to work I discovered my old motherboard does not support a 333MHz FSB. 🙁

So the next day I do some research and ordered a new motherboard, ALBATRON "KX18DS Pro", to replace my current board so I can use my new processor. This was last Wednesday and it was delivered today. 🙂

BTW, this upgrade is more for my wife, Farmgirl, because her computer barely runs WoW. So my old parts will fix her problem too. 🙂
 
They rock because they delivered a motherboard? Wow.

I guess the standards for "rocking" have been lowered drastically.
 
These upgrade stories give me the itch.
I need to upgrade my dvd burner. Sony 510A to 710A.
I was waiting for the next speed jump.
 
Uh oh...it's been a week since I built my SLI rig, thee days since I ordered a few more hard drives for a RAID array and a full day since I ordered my Mac Mini...now I'm getting the urge to upgrade something else.
