OP, I can send you pics of my calamansi fruit when it ripens. Or the limes, lemons, grapefruit, or figs. I can't send you pomegranate pics as my wife already ate them all (bumper crop this year). Calamansi is the bestest.

OP, it's pretty early for citrus to be ripe; did you just pick an unripe mandarin orange? Our calamansi is a mandarin/kumquat hybrid and usually isn't ripe until December.

My old tangerine tree died, and many neighbors old orange trees, had citrus canker kill a bunch a few years ago.

This used to be a good time of the year for the tangerines to start getting good at any rate, maybe still a bit early.

The Key Lime is still kicking though.

I have a 25 year old potted Key Lime tree that regularly produces limes. It spends the winter in my garage. Last winter was rough on it, I actually thought it was dead when I brought it out in the spring but it came back very strong, unfortunately no limes this year though.
