Woot! My AirCond gets installed today.

After bitching for weeks finally someone comes over yesterday looks at teh AC. They go, man this is an old peice, god knows if we can find spares for it. Turns it on, it goes "buzzz".. .. a little smokey smelll and then .... the guy goes i will call later.

I just got a call saying they are on their way to install a new AC... WOOT!

Finally I dont have to bitch about the LA HEAT!

well its finally installed.

It took them nearly an hour of bickering and pointing before it got it in. Turns out they got the wrong size. The BTU's are fine, its 12,000 BTU's (old one was 9000 BTU's) and all but the physical size of this new ac is smaller.

Anyway so they propped it up on some wood and put it in.. it fits well with the trim now set such that it covers all the holes... there is no back grill, so they have to get one later for me.

why all the fuss.. well they tried to save 100 bucks.. well the owner tried to save 100 bucks...

anyway im happily cooling off.. no more running around nekkid.
