The 15" SXGA+ FlexView is one of the best LCD panels out there; awesome viewing angle, great colors, and plenty bright.

Decent price, but you need the 9-cell, hands down; unless you won't be using it on battery much

I believe the T series is somewhat slimmer (physically) but loses several features such as firewire. It is a more "work-only" machine.

Rippppppppppppp. 15" is huge. 14" perfect... I like my Dell 600m size. Any sm aller is too small for my hands.

Personally, I would definitely add on a warranty for an expensive laptop. The LCD alone could cost several hundred dollars to replace.
