Woot!!!! I just found out that I have another 3 months to payoff my furniture!

I bought some new bedroom furniture in late November that's going to be delivered today. Anyhoo, I found out today that I don't have to finish paying it off until August. I was getting ready to throw all my resources at it to pay it off by May. I'm happy because that really takes the pressure off. That is all.

cool! I know something like that gives a big feeling of relief!
what kind of bedroom furniture? any photos?

Oh that is nice! 🙂 and a KING BED!!! i cannot imagine!
we went from having a full bed to a queen just a few months ago and its amazing the room that is there. I cannot even think how much room you have with a king!

I'm a big guy....6'4". When I got rid of my full last year, it was a victory. Now even a queen-sized bed seems small. Since then, I always pay extra in hotels just to defeat my new-found chlosterphobia. 😀

My husband is 6'3" and, with anything less than a king, he has to sleep diagonally to fit on the bed - which leaves me only corners.

Love the furniture - nice choice.

Chlosterphobia - is that a fear of nuns? Or would that be cloisterphobia? 🙂

lol I read the title and for some reason I read the title saying

"Woot!!!! I just found out that I have another 3 months to live"

I must have been looking at something else with the word live in it.

Bingo. 9 months same as cash. It works out pretty good for me since I'm catching up from Honeymoon expenses and some unexpected costs.

I basically got my wife's rings the same way. Bought her engagement ring and payed it off in 10 months... Now, I'm getting furniture with my extra income. I really need to pay this stuff off fast so I can move on to eliminating other debt, but I'm viewing the furniture as a long-lasting asset. We're buying quality stuff to justify buying it now. I don't expect the quality of furniture to be any better in 5 years and certainly don't expect the prices for quality stuff to be as low as they are now.

When isn't it 0% financing? 😕
When they've reached their sales quotas and are trying to turn extra coin through their financing kickbacks. Ethan Allen is notorious for offering short periods like 3 or 6 months.....I was lucky to get 9.

Rooms To Go is ridiculous....offering no interest until 2009 or 2011... Sad thing is, you're lucky if your furniture lasts until 2009 if you buy from there. 😛 (I bought a new couch from there a few months ago, it wasn't cheap...but can already tell that the company cut corners on the foam inside it)
