Features:

Not a bad price, but wth...

a lot of plasmas display rectangular pixels.

this is actually an insanely flaming hot deal since this particular plasma can do 1080i most plasmas cannot.

that said, it is probably an older gen panel as the newer ones are 9th gen already. this isnt really a tv , its more like one of those things you'd see in the lobby of a hotel. but it can potentially be a TV. not a bad deal at all. $5 shipping on a 90 pound monitor is nice too.

damn hdtvs are selling like pancakes :p

$5 is Woot's normal shipping charge. They prolly tackle the difference in the price.

Super deal considering 42" plasmas have been selling for > $1500 for a long time now.

It has DVI w/HDCP which is the same digital picture information. (You can get HDMI to DVI cables.)

HDMI also transfers audio, but since this monitor is just a monitor (no speakers). Sending it audio information is useless.

Worth it? ... all depends on what you want to use it for. And if you prefer Plasma, LCD, DLP ... ect.

I prefer LCD or DLP (or even older CRT) over plasma.
