woot getting me a car for 100$

hehe Ok long story short found a plymouth scamp (same as dodge dart basically) 1972 with slant 6 for 100$ in decent condition... paints fine interior is probably rotted but my dad does car seats 🙂 . Its blue with white top... real dirty but straight body! 4 flat tires tho lol... anyway gotta tow her . Will post pics if I end up getting it next week or so 🙂
The engine runs too just needs a carb rebuild (which I can do) and a new battery.

I am already thinking of putting a 318 or a 360 in there.. but it would take quite a bit of work.. But a v8 in there would be nice.. any ideas? I know Id need a new rear end and a new transmission to put the engine in but still...

Anything specific I should look at when I go see it ? (ive only seen pics)

I had a friend who took the frontend off a dart and bolted it to the ass end of a Valient, it became known as a "Validart" The slant 6's run forever. If you could find a OLD 360 before all the smog requirements you would have a great little car. Paint it yellow with a black stripe around its ass and your all set. 🙂
