It was supposed to go into effect on 8/1/03 but it kicked in last night, I did DSL reports speedtest before and after, before was right at 1500kbps earlier tests were between 1000 and 1500kbps, tested this morning and got 2984kbps, and this evening got 2997kbps.

Been downloading some stuff and the average speed is 350kBps I have never been able to get an average over 150kBps before, it would burst to 200kBps or so and drop off to 100 to 140/50 kBps so the change more than doubled my download rate :D

The last thing I just downloaded was a 55mb file in just a tad over 2 minutes!

So now I gotta find a good use for this speed, I stopped downloading questionable stuff a long time ago, maybe I will get some Linux ISO's, any good new demos out right now?

When I call my local RR to see if they have any new or updated "faster plans" they always tell me, "Yes we do, we've had them for a while now, it's called our business RR account!" -- Yeah, right.
