Cook's Essentials is from QVC tv shopping. We received this coffee system from a friend. It was BAD, BAD, BAD. It worked fine for one week, water began to spray all over the counter, about another month, heating element went under. We contacted QVC, they would replace it even it was over 30 days, no refund; we decided it was not worth the trouble.

You would think 2 travel mugs and 1 carafe worth the price alone. NO, they are not good at keeping coffee warm. By the way, they are discountinued from QVC, that should tell you something.

Thank you for saving me $20.00 as I was seriously contemplating ordering it.

Actually I bought the RC car they had for Christmas for my nephew. turned out to be a decent buy. Hey..it's only for a 4 year old..so it will do. It was decently fast minus the tires that wouldn't catch traction 90 percent of the time. But for $20 bucks I couldn't go wrong.

I'm not saying everything is terrible, its just when woot first came out I thought it would be more computer/appliance oriented site. But now they are selling nearly anything they can get their hands on.
