I enabled VT in my bios on my server as it was disabled from the start and never realized, and since that broke VirtualBox I decided to upgrade from 2.1.2 to 3.x (latest). After a bit of a struggle I managed to get it all working. This is sweet! I can make 64-bit VMs now. Currently installing the latest 64-bit build of Ubuntu as a test. I'll have to test a 64-bit flavour of @#$ows (sorry about the language) later too.
I'm actually quite impressed with VirtualBox for a fully free product. It pretty much compares with vmware workstation. My only pet peave is how it "registers" the VMs, so you can't just go and move a VM to another directory or another system and expect it to work. I'm hoping eventually they fix this.
