I got in on this a month ago. i ordered two.

First problem, all these cars are on the same channel, 27.710mhz i believe. so dont plan on racing them unless u want to solder-swap the crystals in the receiver and transmitter with a new set from radio shack, adding another $5 plus an hour of work.

Secondly, they eat batteries in 5 minutes, and it takes 6 hours to fully charge the one included. The included cells are like 600mah, very, very pathetic. a 1800mah pack would last nearly 3 times longer, but it'd cost you another $10.

Third, and most importantly, is that the controls are not proportional. When steering, its either all the way turned left or right, or its straight. nothing inbetween. FORWARD AND REVERSE ARE THE SAME! Forward has two speeds, extremely slow and fast, so the 2-step 'proportion' system there isn't even worth mentioning, so forget i did.

These are the crappiest cars out of china yet. don't waste any money on them. a run to Radio Shack will get you better cars for $20. The size of these things doesn't make up for the complete crap inside them. I already broke a wheel completely off on one going over a manhole, because the suspension is a joke.
