Wooooo just got run into by a moped

GREEN ARROW = DIRECTION THE FUCKING IDIOT WAS LOOKING WHILE TURNING INTO HIS DRIVEWAY

I slammed on my brakes after I saw him start to turn into my lane. Ended up hitting him at probably 10-15mph. He flew off his moped and ripped his pants but was otherwise ok.

I was so scared that he was going to end up being smeared across the pavement. I don't want to kill anyone

My car's got a smashed bumper and headlight but otherwise appears to be ok.

this is why i never slow down around bikes and motorcycles. if those motherfuckers are dumb enough to swerve into the path of 5000lbs of moving metal, they deserve whats coming to them. as long as you stay in your lane and drive at legal speeds, you cant be held liable.

Yes, every time you get in a wreck you should get a police report. It will help with insurance purposes, cover your ass, etc...

You do not want to get into a "he said/she said" situation. If your story is true (I assume it is) the other person was at fault. What are you going to do if he claims it was your fault?

Shouldnt think so, your insurance company will chase his, which is probably why you should of got some sort of police report!

You could loose your coverage for not reporting it and they find out.
