Yay,
a local guy is selling was selling it for 500 and i talked him down to 450. Im excited... xbox should look great with that stuff. Everyone in my house next year chipped in (i have yet to collect the money..) it came out to be 65 a person.

you will like that set. Its underpriced at full retail ($899,) but at the price you got it at, its a steal!!!

There aren't many 1080i XBox games, and I'm pretty sure this set downconverts 720p to 480p.

It's still should look great at 480p though.

Screw the XBox, get cable HD service if they have it in your area.

Screw HD cable 🙂 Check out voom www.voom.com $40 a month gets about 30 HD channels plus normal channels.

cable will have to be it, seeing as we have to get cable internet. Hows comcasts HDTV service around midwest?

Man, great price on the set, assuming everything's working...

Comcast in AA is fine, you'll get ESPH HD, inHD, inHD2 and the PBS HD channel. Don't know if your TV has it yet, but Comcast just recently implemented the DVI output in our region.

That is a great price for the set.
It is also a great size. We have a 52 inch, but I must admit that my cousin's 30 inch has a much sharper picture.

One more question... what is the cheapest local phone plan? Voom seems to be a great service, but they requre a phone line.
