I went with my family when I was like 15, there are plenty of things to do. They have HUGE arcade in the Luxor and security is high, so my parents just gave us some $ and let us go. The only bad thing I do remember is the pamphlets on the sidewalk.
 
they have lots of family stuff...and a lot more non-family stuff....

Unfortunately, I can't afford to take out $800 more after losing my $500 to start with... I'd say all in all (since I was 18), I've lost about $8,000 in Vegas. Almost 1/3 of my yearly income. *sigh*

I had a fake ID when I was 18, and proceeded to go about once every other month or so when I was in college... lost every single time.

Since I've lived in Cali (since last June), I've gone about once every month... and lost again. I've NEVER come back ahead... I've never even come back even. Maybe I'm just a sh!tty gambler. 🙁

i was down the first time i ever went, in college. after that i've always broken even. this last time though i was way ahead, as was my gf. we'll see how we do this weekend. 🙂

Blackjack... gave up on roulette, craps, and paigow poker. I don't follow the strategies strictly... whenever I play aggressively, I bust. Whenever I play safe, I lose. *sigh*
 
dayum...that's gonna be me once I have a solid job...my luck at blackjack is usually pretty good tho, I've done well the last few times I've gone. Granted, it was petty cash compared to your $3300, but I'm a college student too. 😛
 
dezign....follow the strategy and you should be alright - but my guess is that you put down crazy bets, eh? if you have a large bankroll, then you can afford to bet alot...if not...you'll have to start slow to build it up.....

evilyoda-- winning is winning....this is one of the most i've won in vegas.....so i'm very happy....in college, we won like $250 each and were so freaking happy. 😛 heheehe
 
thats why I rarely goto casino again, if I do, I only take a few hurdreds out for fun. I invest all my extra money into high risk and high reward stocks now. I figure in order to lose ALL my money like I do at a casino, the company has to be a scam and file for bankurptcy overnight.
 
What're the blackjack strategies again? Something like if the dealer shows a low number, play it safe because they will likely end up busting... or something to that effect ?
