NOT what your thinking. I couldn't go four years without that;)

The IRS owes me money!!

First tax refund in four years!! It's not much, but then again 2 years ago I owed over 3K and had to take out a loan.

I'll be able to a couple of DVD's, or maybe some more RAM. I don't care***I don't owe.

I'm going to go grab a beer to celebrate.

For those of you that are under 21 and/or not married, you just wait until you become a DINK (Dual Income No Kids). The IRS literally bends you over and uses vaseline that has sand and rock salt added.

WoooHoooo!!! Just had to share! I'm so excited I'm tingly all over!

When your a DINK they nail you because they expect you to have other deductions. As a DINK you can sign up for Married w/0 deductions +$25 per pay check, and still owe money. Tax brackets are messed up!:|

When I was a DINK we got back money every year. Usually about 2K, now that we have a kid we get even more and we make a load of money. The trick is we tithe to our Church. Last year we got back 2,800. :)

Ah yes, the old charitable contributions.

Just remember for the average American, giving $1000 nets you about $280 in (federal) tax savings...

A bargain? Hardly.

You want savings? Non-cash charitable contributions--give all your old stuff to goodwill! Doesn't cost you a dime in "real" money, but you saves you real money on tax day.

Taxes suck.

Friend of mine was born on Dec 31st, his parents have always loved him for that. Get a full year's worth of deductions and only have to put diapers on him for one day.

I always owe money it seems.. My parents were smart and built me up a hefty college fund, so getting money out of mutual funds, etc. for tuition pushes me into a higher tax bracket so I don't get money back from my jobs. Kinda sucks, but I'm happy I don't have to come up with $10,000+ extra every year to pay tuition.
