Stupid thieves wasted their time and mine by stealing it. It was found 0.57 miles from where it was stolen with everything intact. The only visible damage is a couple of punctures on the center console and the display on the CD player doesn't work. Everything - and I do mean EVERYTHING - was left in the car, including 50+ CDRs and 12 store-bought CDs in their cases. Not even the stereo was removed. What a waste of a theft!
Now for the suckage: it was recovered on a Friday, so of course the notice wasn't sent out until Monday, and of course it was by snail mail. That left me with 6 days of impound fees, totalling (with tow charges) $376. Couldn't have called me on that Friday, seeing as they already had my phone number? It seems like that would've been much more efficient. Oh well, I'm just glad to have my car back.
