bought it from russ...

let's see, what have i done... um

i bought a power sander and removed the paint from my cases (almost done with that)... then i'll do a finish sanding to "smooth" everything. and apply a clear layer.

i am in the middle of replacing LEDs (with BRIGHT red and blue ones =)) i like red.

i finished drilling and cutting for the blowholes (2x 120mm fans on the side ONLY for intake) of my new case. waiting for the filters to arrive before using them. and then i'll just have to make my RCA jacked fanbus. yes RCA. my other case has it already.
also, have to add switches to my primary case. no switches on this new case.

any one else doing anything interesting??

Hey Mday, are you planning to paint the case? If yes what kind of paint? You should take some pics to show us the work in progress =)

Next time you need to sand off the paint on your case Go spend $10 on Jasco Paint and Epoxy remover it will remove all the paint off your case in about 15 minutes it works great but be very sure to were eye protection and gloves this is nasty stuff.. and do not use on plastic parts it will melt them.... You can buy this stuff at just about any paint store.. Have fun with you case mod.......

uh, i am not about to mess with too many chemicals. i am just going to apply a clear layer, if i want, over the metal.

i wanted a sander anyway, so it was a good excuse to get one.

i can't afford to do what bmf did in arstechnica. i just don't have several hundred dollars to blow on tools and paint.
