this was already somewhat reported on recently by Electic Tech, but it's good to know plans are continuing.

the reason for interest in MRAM is that it hasn't yet been explored fully for memory systems. It has the potential for extremely cheap solid state memory.

the eventual hope for me, is that it becomes small and cheap enough to replace the modern day hard drive. the speed boos that computers will recieve would be instantly noticeable. you turn on your computer, and your OS is loaded scant seconds later, with little heat or noise produced. Load up Quake 3, and be there within a second or two, rather then waiting (esp. on my computer) just to get to the menu.
