It's horrible, I don't think I was even coming close to the 400GB/month I had available before, but now I have 1,000GB/month. Not even ATOT can break me now 🙂

I don't host an awful lot, I have a personal site up, post random crap on it, and mostly it's videos that I throw up and usually post here. I had the first vidcap of the Family Guy PBJ on here (and Google Video), it got nailed about 15,000 times last month, just shy of 50GB of bandwidth. A few other videos combined only use something like 15-20GB or so a month, the rest is all just site related stuff.

Could be, my host keeps up-to-date on security patches though, whenever they find one and put out a patch, the server is updated pretty quickly. Plus, what point would there be in messing with the site, really nothing on it atm, and I have backups of it.

My bro does hosting and has excellent prices with an extremely lenient TOS. (Can host pr0n and Link to warez.) Revolutionary Hosting

Dont worry about the uptime meter. The uptime guage is for that server and its in the process of being upgraded. All the hosting servers have had 100% uptime so far.

Negative, the host is located in Canada, so they're kind of strict about hosting TV shows, movies, anything that's copyrighted and I don't have permission to host. I stick to clips from shows/movies, no music at all, no porn, no software (that isn't shareware/freeware), any pictures (not porn), and I don't have any problems.

I have a crapload of Flash animations on currently, some of which it's fairly hard to find anywhere else.

For $7.95/month you are way below cost to offer 1000GB bandwidth, clearly a large amount of overselling on their part.

That's for as LOW as $7.95 a month, you gotta pay for a 2 year block to get that price. You pay a bit more if you go month by month or 6 months at a time. I have yet to see a host that provides virtual servers that aren't oversold, but having said that I've NEVER in almost 2 years of hosting with Canaca had an issue with my site being slow, or down more than a few hours for updates. They've been topnotch the entire way.

Yeah. His main page is being transferred to sa new server. His customers are unaffected as they run on different servers. As for the price plan. Yeah they are majorly overselling.

Nope, they've helped start that trend. They've had these kinds of prices ever since they opened.
 
That's not bandwidth it's transfer allowance. I'm sure your server's connection remains unchanged. 😉
