Well, I'm pretty impressed with myself. While waiting for some upgrades to arrive via FedEx (those bastards sure are slow), I decided to take apart my computer in preparation for the upgrades. Considering I've never done any of this before, I think I did a mighty fine job. I even put it back together (partially) and got in working order to post this message! Lets see... processor, video card, modem and hard drive. Thats all I have installed, and it works just fine.

Good job, take your time when you new stuff comes, don't be too impatient like half the posts you see here and you shouldn't fry anything.

"Let this be a lesson to all of you! Never... NEVER EVER turn on your computer without a HSF on your processor. Let me say that again. NEVER TURN ON YOUR COMPUTER WITHOUT A HSF ON YOUR PROCESSOR."

No extra parts when you're done? That's the fun part, figuring out where the last screw came from before you turn it on.....
