Just a quick note on the Asus A7V133-
The memory scores I got were from enabling WPCREDIT. The current Bios disables 4-way interleaving when you go above 137FSB. I've tried every workaround on this and can't get it to stick. Hopefully this will be fixed with a BIOS update.
If you see reviews that show a low memory score, this is probably why.
Boot up times are incredibly fast. The bios screen flashes by for less than a second. The Promise bios goes by in about 2 seconds. WindowsME loads in about 7 seconds.
There are numerous tweaks in the bios that I will need to do some research on because there was nothing like it on my CUSL2. The only complaint I have about the board is that it comes with onboard audio. (Which is enabled by default.)
Being my first AMD board, I don't know if this is normal, but the board is very wide. I have it in a FongKai 603 case and the board actually reaches the drive bays. Which only leaves me with space for 1 5 1/4in drive at the top. (And that is only because that drive bay is above the board.) I had to take out my cdrom and just leave my burner in. Time for a real case I guess.
All in all the board is very stable. No lockups yet. I've been running 3DMark2k looped, and Q3 looped with no problems yet. I will try lowering the Multiplier and raising the FSB later to see if I can improve on memory scores. I have a feeling that my memory will stop this from happening.
Update- using advice from Dulanic and saving my settings by hitting F10 worked. No longer have to use WPCREDIT, and memory scores went up.
