She got me a SB Live! X-Gamer sound card---my god, what a difference! I had been using the onboard sound with my KK266 since I built my rig, and always thought it had a very artificial sound, but the difference is almost unbelievable. She also wrote me the sweetest letter that I've ever had the pleasure to read. Hope all the other fathers out there are as lucky as I am.

Man you are one lucky guy. I tried to get someone to get me a simple crimping tool for making my own network cables for christmas last year. I figured i would tell my wife where you could get it along with the exact radio shack part number and the price was in the right area. Her dad likes to buy all the male family members tools at christmas so i figured this would be perfect she could get it for him to give at christmas and he wouldn't even have to go get it himself. Well she couldn't understand why i had to have that particular thing so i ended up getting some nut drivers (have 3 sets already) another pair of tinsnips (never used the first pair) and some kind of 1 size fits all wrench thing that made my other wrenches useless

I agree with RedDawn on trading it in. My TB San Cruz sounds infinatly better then any SB Live card I've heard.

Only redeeming value of the SB Live series of cards is that they came with Game Commander.
