WooHoo!!!!!!!! Just Closed on my FIRST APARTMENT!!!

I have been living in the dorms or with my parents for my first two and a half years of college. I wanted to wait until I saved up enough money to lease a NICE apartment without needing my parents to co-sign.

I now have enough money in the bank to afford full rent for the rest of the school year without working any extra hours. In the summer, I already have a kick-ass, high paying intership lined up to keep my rent and my new credit report booming.

Now all I have to do is convince my parents to give me the 1990 Geo Prism that has been sitting in the garage since the Clinton Administration.

***Does a happy Dance***

 

Congratulations! That's how I want my by-myself-life to start out - no help from parents, getting a good deal on an apartment, and a kickass internship or job. Good for you!
