I actually had a negetive bank balace in my checking account. Had to pay a damn $28 dollar fine too... Not because I overspent, but i forgot to cancel this one order of damn coffee....

Anyway, a payment of one of my financial aid loans just kicked in and I got about 5 and a half hundred in my account now. I'm from So Cal and it is damn cold in Davis. I'm gonna buy a winter jacket and then save this money. No more spending for me!

Do all college students go throguh this? Before I got here, I always thought I wouldn't be one of those people who got broke and stuff...

Bleh. I'm a full time student. I have jobs. Not real, full-time jobs, but jobs. I am currently part owner of a startup company and design their webpages and code the system files. It is a pay in the end job, so I don't get anything now. I am also a part-time webdeveloper for a company down in socal.

No, not all college students go through that, but unfortunately it doesn't end with college sometimes. :(

I'd be careful about working for a startup for no pay. They might not be around later to pay you. You're a college student. You don't need a career, just something to help pay the bills. Deliver pizzas a couple days a week or something. It may not be the most prestigious thing out there, but it'll pay the bills. Don't depend on student loans if you can help it, they'll bite you in the @$$ later.

Well, in highschool I was always one of those kids that had lots of money to play around with... got to college, took 21 credit hours, had late classes and they were spread out so I could only work weekends, and I ran out of cash REAL fast. I've grown adjusted to now buying a whole lot(such a change for me though...) and when I have dates it needs to be on the nights the theaters have half-priced tickets for students. The pluses? Perhaps this will be the only time in your life that women realize it's not your fault you're broke and will respect everything you give them;)
