YES! I sold my car! 1990 Integra RS with busted tranny and dented door, 137k miles... for $500. What should I spend it on? Gimme suggestions!

I'm wanting a mountain bike, so gimme good name brand bikes!

Wow, I'm up early! Anyways, I've decided to go the public transportation route. There's decent public transportation in Portland and while I'm going to college in a small town, I don't really need a car anyways. My roommates' all have cars so I can bum rides offa them. After I graduate this year, hopefully I'll be teaching in Japan anyways, so a car isn't in the immediate future right about now. Would've been nice if I could've gotten more on it though, but as it is right now, I'm happy that I sold that bigarse paperweight sitting in the parking lot right now.

Still wanting mountain bike suggestions! Or maybe one of those cool bikes with the big cushy seats that you just ride slowly around Sunday afternoons in the park. Comfort vs EXTREME!!

$1000 bucks is way too much for a car with a bad tranny
