WooHoo!!!! I just got DSL!

I just got SDSL from telocity for my house up here at school after suffering through two weeks of dial-up(I have a cable modem at home)! Even though i've heard the horror stories about telocity, they were much better than ameritech, which is who I tried to go though last semester when wanted DSL. Right now i'm getting a little under the quoted speed which was 768k/768k, but who cares! Just had to share the excitement.

Congrats. I got cable 2 years ago and I'm never going back to dial-up.

Do you peeps know any hidden fees DSL or Cable providers have?

Comcast @home charges me a couple bucks extra in tax a month, so my $39.95 bill is like $42.00

Man, Telocity couldn't get a line to my house (long drawn out story) so after a year of DSL I have had to suffer with dial up for the last couple of months.


What irritates me is that Telocity could get a line to you, in a pineapple, under the sea, and I got ignored.



congrats though, I should be getting my new line this week, although I don't believe a word of it.
