Breakfast is bad. You eat breakfast and it makes you more hungry during lunch time. If you skip breakfast your not really hungry at lunch and can skip the first 2 meals and just eat dinner.

actually its just the opposite, breakfast is what starts your metabolism and promotes fat burning. The key is a healthy breakfast

Did not work for me. I skip the first 2 meals and have been able to maintain 115-117lbs at 5'9.

If you weigh 115lbs at 5'9 you're too fvcking skinny.

According to American doctors? I grew up in a poor country where I was malnourished and lived in a orphanage and ended up not growing for over a year because of lack of food when I was around 4. I grew up eating little food and my body is accustomed to little food intake. So for me, 115 lbs is not to skinny. It is actually a little fat.

lol that is the truth ...

anyways arkitech, loosing 30lbs in 6 weeks is very unreasonable. and if you think you can just all of a sudden start working out 3-4 times per day, with 20-30 mins to start the day off with high intensity cardio, and you haven't been maintaining your 'in shape' lifestyle, well you are way over your league. even for someone in shape, 3-4 workouts per day, at 20-30 minute spurts, that is just ridiculous. thats almost 2 hours of working out a day. that is something that someone who is IN shape can MAYBE do, but you stating you are overweight, and also have not been working out for a while, that is just very unlikely.

start slow then build your way up to longer times at higher intensities.

also if you plan on losing 30lbs in 6 weeks doing one of those low carb diets, be prepared to also lose some muscle. it will not be strictly 30lbs of fat. probably along the lines of 20lbs/10lbs fat/muscle ratio. but thats just a guestimate

I'm already working out, about 2-3 times per week and I'm losing roughly about 2 pounds per week. I figure with extra time I can workout 7 times a week and hopefully lose closer to 4-5 pounds per week. Despite being a big guy I still have a lot of muscle (I used to be a workout fiend a few years ago) in fact I can still see my washboard, its kinda covered up though
😱

I think you can easily do it in 6 weeks. If you REALLY REALLY cut back on your callories (like 500-750/day) and you workout for an hour of cardio you will be able to do it no problem. That is of course if you don't cheat. It might start out slow for the first week but once you get going, the lbs. will disappear real quick (probably 1lb/day).

Skip breakfast, get fat.

take pictures of yourself every day and post them online for everyone to see.

It worked for some guy who I can't remember the site.

And watch out what you eat.

And you need to really control your diet! Dont starve yourself though....

yes, dont' forget to cut out junk food, fast food, sodas, candy, etc.

drink lots of water, too.
This alone will account for 10 -20 lbs from the average person.
Add in several High Intensity Cardio during the day and reduce the total amount of simple carbs and 30 lbs is within reason.
Good luck.

I dropped almost 70 lbs with Atkins / South Beach and regular excersize.

You can lose 30 lbs in 42 days. Much of it will be muscle and fluids. You cannot lose 30 lbs of fat in 42 days and I would strongly recommend against even trying. You took months and years to get overweight, so why not take a little while longer to lose it? Any crash diet is a poor attempt at losing weight and this is a crash diet that you're proposing. Apart from the fact it's not safe, it simply won't work. I'd put money on the fact you can't stick to it (which is good, because it's not reasonable). Excercise a lot, cut back calories while keeping your food intake constant and of quality food, and lose the weight at a slower pace.
