Finally after 2 years... I had the CD all this time but misplaced teh code.

Anyway I have it installed, but the opening of half life it has this "buzz buzz buzz buzz....." type sound.. I am running SB live Value card.

Also how do I uprgade to CS 1.1. I let HL update itself, is that teh CS 1.1 uprade?

you need to update both half life and download counterstrike 1.1

both files are like 80 MB each... or something.

go search a thread about counterstrike 1.1, surely there will be links to other servers since counter-strike.net (the official page) is slow.

as for half life, i suggest doing the same. note, there was a new half life patch when 1.1 was released.

i don't suggest letting half life updating itself. just download the update and install it manually.

of course you should keep those files some place safe should something bad happen.
