Woohoo! I finally got my PAP2 adapter working with Google Voice

I picked up a PAP2 adapter that turned out to be free after rebate. I unlocked it and played around with asterisk making local calls between it and my sip softphone....but never tried linking it with Google Voice.

I used to have Packet8 for VOIP phone service and everyone knew my number...and I was happy paying the yearly $200 considering I get cell service for free through work, so I never had a reason to switch... My wife and I moved to a new city, both have cellphones covered, so we never got a landline after moving...I figured I'd play around with my local GV number and sure enough was able to get it working Inbound/Outbound tonight with Google Voice, SipSorcery & IPKRALL. It was pretty easy to get it routing!

I just hope Google keeps over GV for free! I feel like I've wasted too much time not doing this. 😛

Ok now after doing some googling and researching, I realize it was ipkall after all.

Thank you sir, for you have made my day. I have been trying to find a way to do this for a long time now without using an astrisk server.
