I went to the dealership today and talked to the guy. He was willing to get it ready tonite, but I told him I will come back tommorow for it. In the mean
time I got to talk with geico and they agreed to pay the outstanding differnce that the insurance adjuster was hesitating.
Now for the fun part - or rather the sad part.
Not only did I drop the bike but the dealership also did so. Dont ask me how.. or what, I only saw the front of the bike (it was sqeezed in against a wall
with the rear towards the wall, and two other bikes on either side). However I did notice that the right brake lever was broken (which earlier wasnt
broken) and the rear indicator was broken. The manager goes up to the tech and says to check on the parts, well he then pulls out not one part (which
was the only one backordered andthat was needed fixing the last time I was there), but 6 parts, one which says "exhaust" on it and a graphic of it.
I knew they have installed a new exhaust before ( I had seen it) but since they dropped it they are having to replace it on their time and money.
Anyway I am glad I am getting it back .I will ask the tech what happened when they dropped it, it wouldnt surprise me if it stalled again.
By the way the guy who was handling my bike is nolonger there, apparently fired.. humm.. does the two actually 'relate' in incidents?

Uh. Glad you're getting your toy back. Hopefully in one piece if the dealer apes can stop breaking things. I don't think I'd be half as calm as you seem to be if I noted the dealer broke things.

I finally sold my Triumph last weekend. I kinda miss it, but my newly-inflated savings account balance is helping to dull the pain somewhat.;)

Keep the rubber side down!

fausto1> dont worry i will ape about it. I want to find out from them how they dropped it. If the drop happened due to a problem, and if that problem is remotely similar to the problem I was having then suzuki will have to give in and refund me on the bike.. cause then I am sure its a lemon. At this point I am waiting to get it back However the point is this, if the bike continues to ahve the problem after I get it back (even though suzuki claims its fixed - they apprently worked with the dealer on it), thenI am going to have to majorly complain.. cause they were to fix the stall problem.

Oh well we will see. I am waiting for my brother to come take me to the dealer, I am not driving there, leaving my car there only to pick it up later tonite.. I want someone to go with me.

oh well.. its 6 PM now.. they close at 7.. lets hope my bro comes back soon.

You know, the Hayabusas had a bad bunch of fuel filters when they came out that caused stalling after short run periods. I wonder if you've got similar gremlins?
