thats nothing, Right now it is -20ish celcuis, almost -30 with the windchill. Its so cold I have amlost decided to stop walking to school.

But you said it was 5°F. How is the frozen lake going reduce the ambient temperature below the water temperature?

I'm about an hour south of Lake Erie and its about 12°F here.
