congrats.

this is going to sound like a noob question, but is there a test of some sort on american history, or democracy? if so, good luck!

Friend took this interview couple of weeks back. One of the things they made him do was say the sentence " i drive a red car." lol . It wasnt a trick question either.

nope...greencard since 1989. And I already took the history/govt/writing/speaking test. This is the formal interview where they'll ask, among other things, if i will bear arms for the USA. After that there is a swearing-in ceremony in court.

I'm happy because this means that when i get old, i can happily live 6 months in India and 6 months in the states with no one harrassing me. With the greencard, you can't stay out of the country for more than a year without special permission.

Congratulations! Thank you for going through all the steps to legally become a citizen. 🙂

Oh, and even though I'm 15 years too late... welcome to the country. 😉

Congrats! So, when do you get your passport, arrogant attitude and closed worldview?

-jk, it's a joke guys.

Edit: Ooh, I'm gonna get flamed hard. Meh, probably earned it with that one.
