WooHoo! got my Grill together today - STEAKS tomorrow!

Finally had a chance to assemble the new gas grill today - man is it HUGE . This thing dwarfs my poor old and now retired sunbeam. I got a Grill 'N Roast model 3020L, which you can check out here:

The coolest thing about this grill are the louvers inside that can be drawn closed (like a heating register in your house) to completely keep the flame away from the meat for "no flare-ups". It's too bad that there are no detailed close-up pictures of the inside of the grill at the website.

I still can't believe the deal I got on this - originally sold for $350 at Lowe's.............I picked it up on clearance for $125!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gonna do some STEAKS tomorrow!!! Then maybe some native Endicott NY spiedies on Sunday!!!!

Pre-Heat the cast iron grates and all to 500 degrees, then slap those steaks on for 5 minutes a side!! (louvers open for searing of course!!!!)
 
Hey cablegod - I would have considered it, but i bought it a month ago. It was the LAST one they had (apparently Lowe's is not going to carry Grill 'N Roast anymore)

What can I say........right place, right time 😉
