I think you're refering to the 75k guy? if so then that's SETI & DPC are light years behind us there 😛🙂.

It's Netherlands 🙂 And I don't think S@NL will be shaking, because they still will have a lead of 10k wu's. And still have CobraICE outproducing TA on his own.

BTW, we (DPC's) are also started with S@H a few weeks ago! (we had a team, but it wasn't anything serious). We are fighting to get in the top 200, so we can make stats containing races with other teams.

In a few weeks I'm starting S@H with an Athlon 1.4 Ghz, an Athlon 1.2 Ghz, a pIII500 and a pII333, does anyone know what the WU times are for that machines, or howmuch WU's I'll produce in a day? They all have 128 mb memory.

LoWLaNDeR - the 1.4 will do about 4:15 or so, the 1.2 4:45 or so, the 500 10 hours, the 333 18. mostly these are some educated guesstimates. the 1.4 and 1.2 are on target but its been a long time since i've seen figures for the 500 and lower, so i'm just guessing based on the output of my 700, 400, and 233. hope all goes well with your seti exploits over at the DPC

Thanks! But I already did ECCp for a long time ago, but since we've taken the #1 spot today, there isn't much fun left, so I thought, hell, why don't switch to SETI to get us started.

Assimilator1: CobraICE has switched 3 more servers to S@H, they will produce another 950 WU's a day extra, although there are people doubting the allowance of Cobra to use and let crunch the machines were he's currently crunching on. (A real heavy discussion on a Dutch forum, and I'm not translating 10 pages text or so 🙂

Since SETI is not a multi-threaded application, 950 WU per day = about 160 of the Athlon 1.4 machines you were talking about or 160 CPU's in a multi-CPU server set-up - all running as an instance. What type of servers are those?
