I was soooooo sick of all the rain we've been getting. The ground is slowly turning into mud, especially where we walk through it. Finally, it's cold enough to freeze the ground, plus a pretty white layer of fluffy snow covering the ugly mud. (Except for a big circle where the end of the hose is slowly running, to keep the hose from freezing up.)

They predicted snow for us... and we got rain. My sump pump has been cycling on and off constantly the past week.

I heard they got about 6 inches up in Fredonia, Mayville, and Sinclairville. We only have about 1 inch on the ground down here in Lakewood though. :( I want that 12 inches they have promised us by tomorrow!!

In Orchard Park we had like in inch. In the southtowns, in Cattaraugus where my parents live, they have like 10 inches. I almost got stuck there last night.

Has only snowed here in southern-tier NY ... about twice. One being relatively heavy (not Colorado-heavy though :p).

yes! I used my new not-really-needed snowblower and all the neighbors were jealous... I felt their stares so heavily.
