My college town will again riot tonight against the time-change, a tradition started about 5 years ago when the bars closed 1/2 hour early unexectedly as a result of it and 2000 students took to the streets to protest. Every year since then, half of the student body trudges uptown about 12AM, parties in the streets till 2AM, and then the other half of the student body comes out of the bars and joins them. Its really a fantastic thing to see, it rivals our famous halloween street party, with the difference being everyone is drunk and there are no kids.

I'll post pictures at ~4AM if I dont get arrested! :Q 😛

Kids would do anything to enjoy themselves these days. Riots are fast becoming common in all the unis in the States. 😀

Our bars close at 2am as well down here in gville. But we just go back and party at peoples houses, not riot 😀

The "riots" so far have actually been fairly tame, last year all it was was an excuse to take over the street and drink. Very little actual property damage, mostly drunk people and girls showing their titties for beer. In no way would I actually participate in anything destructive. I've covered it for the local paper 2 of the 4 years I attended school here, and I cant decide whether I just want to drink and have fun tonight or simply take pictures of it again.

haha, yeah I guess. I'll just take my digicam, it will take too long to develop/scan/tone if I shoot with my nikon gear.
 
This just shows that people, when in groups, are stupid, and will momentarilly forget their superego... If only I could harness and control this phenominon...

Rubber bullets would do the trick. I never will understand the fascination college students have with vomit. They must like it since they produce so much of it.
