woohoo class is cancelled!

We have some pretty intense lake effect snowfall going on here (Utica NY), so bad in fact that the college cancelled all classes, people are getting out of work early (except me) and the county is closing all rural roads. Whee! I just had to go out and move my car as it was getting snowed in. I am especially excited because I was supposed to have a class tonight from 6 until 10 pm. sure is nice to not have to go!

Our school was cancelled until today (went in at 10:00)

I only had one class so I didn't go. Also my car is stuck at the bottom of our driveway. Guess I'll be digging out this weekend.

Going to borrow my parents car tommorow so I can make my two classes.

I do that everytime I pull into the parking lot at work. It's a huge lot, and only a few cars at the far end, so I always find that the emergency brake somehow works its way up as soon as I enter the lot. Having a small 2-door coupe makes for fun and interesting winter driving!

yea, my school cancelled classes today too (not surprising since I live roughly 3 minutes down the road from scorch and I go to a different school in the same general area). Anyway, it sucks because I don't have any classes scheduled for today anyway. Couldn't it have been yesterday?!?

And I'm not getting out of work early either...so you're not alone (at work right now)

holy crap, you are only like 45 mins from me. Keep that snow up there, we have had enough already this year.

BTW, I got accepted to both SUNY Brockport and Binghamton, haven't decided which one to go to yet. A lot of people I know are also thinking about Brockport, so that could be a lot of fun...

Nope, I am in Norwich actually. Small town not too far from where you are, about an hour from Binghamton.

Can't be any worse Actually, I'm liking it a lot better then MV except there's a lot more professors that don't really speak english all that well. To be expected though I guess.

great. just frikken great. there is a winter advisory for this weekend. It looks like colder air and moisture will conspire to make freezing rain this weekend and through to Monday.

Yeah, I still go to MV, I already graduated though, just taking some filler courses this semester.

Last semester I got my graduation invoice too late, by the time I got it, applications were already due at the colleges
I had planned on applying for. So... consequently, I get to take more courses at MV...
