Woohoo--Another Season of Family Guy!!

Wasn't the re-run Family Guy episode on Fox tonight great!! I saw the previews during the NFL game and was wondering why Fox would be showing episodes of a cancelled series. Then of course during the episode they announced a new season of Family Guy starting on May 1.
I was NOT a fan of the series when it was on but have discovered the series on DVD as I am sure many others have as well which, in addition to its being syndicated on TBS, I presume has led to Fox ordering more episodes. At least now I will consider myself a weekly viewer/recorder.

yeah, the new season is probably coming in March. When I saw the FG live in Dec, they said they weren't sure whether it was going to end up on Fox or the Cartoon Network yet.

What I'm wondering is are they making two sets of new seasons? Cartoon Network Adult Swim is also advertising new episodes in May or June. Are Fox and Cartoon Network both going to show the same new episodes at the same time?
