Did you even comprehend what he said there, which was on Sept 1, (2 1/2 weeks ago)? What's changed since then? Has what he said taken place, you know sorting thru it all and allowing the investigation to take place without him influencing it? Has he denied anything we have learned, after they sorted thru it all, and the investigation he didn't want to influence has taking place? Per the norm, you jumped on your bullshit, "I'm a dumbass", manipulation cycle and started peddling down the street. And you wonder why you have zero credibility.
He thinks the grass is blue

This has to do with how much you can trust Gen. Milley.

"GEN. MARK MILLEY: We know that there were secondary explosions. Because there were secondary explosions, there is a reasonable conclusion to be made that there was explosives in that vehicle. The third thing is, we know from a variety of other means that at least one of those people that were killed was an ISIS facilitator. So, were there others killed? Yes, there are others killed. Who they are, we don’t know. We’ll try to sort through all that. But we believe that the procedures, at this point — I don’t want to influence the outcome of an investigation — but, at this point, we think that the procedures were correctly followed and it was a righteous strike. "

A righteous strike on an aid worker and 7 children.

Foam on hypocrites, foam on.
Makes sense you wouldn’t recognize an honest man.

Mike Pence called up Dan Quayle for advice, saying he was facing huge pressure from Trump and co. to overturn the results of the election. He asked Quayle if there was any way he could fulfill Trump's request to essentially end democracy and Quayle to his credit was like 'absolutely not, are you fucking kidding me.'

This is, apparently, the "plan" that Pence had to be dissuaded from executing:

Also find humorous that they thought doing a coup would result in just "howls"and litigation instead of say like the destruction of the republic as we know it.

Who do you trust more Milley or Trump?

Neither isn't an acceptable answer you must pick one. You can answer in the following context, who is more likely to lie to you or who do you think will do the right thing for the country vs himself.

Pence had to call Dan Quayle to figure why this was a bad idea?!. A man who didn’t how to spell potato. Dan Quayle is now smarter than the leadership of the Republican party. When Dan Quayle is acting as the voice of reason, you know you’re in trouble.

I’m wondering how much more of this obviously criminal behavior has to come to light before that corrupt asshole Christopher Wray stops brushing it off as “free speech”. I'm also wondering why Biden didn’t fire him and appoint someone that wasn’t corrupted by Trump. You would think replacing the FBI director appointed by a Mobbed up goon would be a priority.

It's not a crime to make a legal argument as to how Pence could overturn the results of the election. That clearly falls within the realm of free speech.

This highlights the problem though, as I keep saying - the rules will not save us. There is no law you can pass and no court that can rule that Republicans need to accept the basic rules of Democracy and turn over power when they lose. That relies entirely on them being more invested in democracy as a system than they are in winning any given election. The problem we have is they may not think that anymore.

Personally I don't care if what Gen Milley did was legit or correct. In all other instances I would care, but we're talking Donald Trump and I'd rather Gen Milley overstep his authority so that you and me and some 330 million Americans could live to see tomorrow. What horrified me was when Donald Trump angrily denied that he was planning on launching nukes because it was THEN that I realized that the rumor was true. Damn fucking true!!! And Milley knew it was true. And after all.... Gen Milley WAS actually there where none of us were.

It's a lovely day outside today. Blue skies and a hint of Fall in the air. Do people have any idea what the day would look like after a nuclear exchange between China? General Milley knew all too well and General Milley WAS NOT going to chance it because.... General Milley knows Donald Trump better than any American knows Donald Trump. We, Trump can fool and con and make us believe anything, where as General Milley not so much so. Was General Milley possibly the greatest America hero of all time? Of all mankind? We will never know, but General Milley knows and every America had better worship the very ground General Milley walks on.
