A former SCIENCE teacher that said she was afraid it would hurt nearby plants making them unable to photosynthesize . . . Woodland’s Planning Commission banned the solar farm on a 3-1 vote. That’s right, 75% of the planning commission was either too afraid to tell their stupid residents the actual scientific truth, or they’re just as stupid as their residents.

Where does Woodland, NC get it's power at the moment?

Generally, with a planning commission of only four votes and a former teacher spinning Sarah Palin's old "CO2 good for plants" nonsense, "stupidity" can certainly be a factor.

But with many other much larger decisions and their history, I still want to see if there's evidence of something else behind the nonsense.

Who is making the money with the existing status-quo? Even that sort of logic belongs in the bin with "Red-State Madness."

Also, your links show that this . . . this . . . teacher . . . had observed "dead plants" under the panels. Were they getting enough rain?!

This 'news article' is part of a media campaign by a large multi-billion dollar corporation to use lots of small, shell companies so they can appear to be small local firms in support of solar power. The fact is that this is part of a land-grab and a tax-loophole profiteering move by a greedy corporation and the people who are getting screwed over are small family-owned farms.

Get the facts about this before you support it just because it says 'solar' all over it.

After seeing the technology advances made by the First Order in the construction of their Star Killer base I think these people may be on to something. 😉
