You're going to need to go to a private wood dealer. Truthfully though, wood is wood, and you're going to pay through the nose for oak with intricate designs. The big chain stores sell popular styles for discount prices, and the quality isn't all that bad.

I bought oak stair treads and risers from this place. They also sell hardwood moldings. The quality of what I bought was excellent and shipping was more than reasonable. I know it was less for materials and shipping than just the materials were at Lowe's. Don't know what shipping would be for moldings. The people there are very nice to deal with. Hope this helps.
