Has anyone have experience with the Milwaukee 7155-21 stapler or the B & C Eagle LFN-50?
For the last 4 weekends I have been working on my floor, and more than ½ of the time I spent purchase/return/repair tools.
1. King Canada 2-in-1 flooring nailer/stapler was a pain in the arse to use because it keep jamming up on me even after it went back to the shop for repair. It didn?t worth the $287 CAD that I paid for it, and it damage quite a few of the bamboo planks.
2. Rent Bostitch flooring stapler from Home Depot and it was a joy to use for $40 CAD a day. It require very little force to set the stapler, and would fire straight even if the hammer blow is slightly off center.
3. The $499 CAD Paslode flooring stapler from Rona work much better than the King Canada model, but the included hammer isn?t as nice as the Bostitch. It takes very little effort to set the stapler, however it would misfire if you don?t hit the hammer head dead on center. (I?m returning it the end of the week).
4. I just picked up the Prime LFN-50 (B & C Eagle LFN-50) flooring nailer this evening from a local professional fasteners store for $549 and will report the result this weekend (the fasteners store is the local warrantee/repair shop for all kind of fasteners tools, and they claim that they see only 1 Prime come in for repair to 4 of Bostitch?I don?t know how many Prime are being use by pro compare to Bostitch).
5. Also purchased tonight was the $179 CAD Milwalkee 7155-21 finish stapler instead of the $199 CAD Porter-Cable combo kit brad nailer & stapler.
6. I was going to test out Senco & Primatech flooring nailer, but the pro stores that carry them do not have no question ask return policy.
