It seems like around this time of the year I spot a few of them in my house. I saw one on the bathroom floor a few days ago and today I spotted one in a cupboard. The one in the cupboard was the largest one I've seen at over 1 inch. Scared the crap out of me when I opened the door. It didn't seem all that bothered either. Just sat there then slowly walked around. I dispached him quickly. Now it has me looking everywhere in the house before I do anything.

After some research on the web it appears they wandered into my house by accident. They aren't the pest like the german and american roaches. In fact, they will die if left in a house for a few days.

Anyone else get these things in their house this time of year?

I did at a few places I lived in Houston.

Woke up with one of those fuckers on my face once, easily over an inch long. I didn't sleep well for a while after that.
