You all suck (yes I'm extremely jealous).

We're stuck using ancient HP Vectra VL (P2/400 running W2K) with 19" Compaq fishbowl monitors.

When we "upgrade" it will probably be to P3/500's ... oh no hold me back 😛

aaaaaaaahhhhhh I remember the Vectra
I thought you worked in a bank?

Do you just view documents, no databse crunching, etc......?

wow Im :Q

Yes but I work in international banking and investigations.

It's a very solid corporate PC but just wish it were a tad faster and I had a nice 19" Trinitron FD CRT.

Must be a bank-thing. We have HP Vectra VLi8's here at my bank. P3 550 with 128MB RAM and NT4.0 and fishbowl HP 19" monitors. When I first got here, I complained but no one did anything. Hard to program with only 128MB of RAM. I threatened to open it up and upgrade it myself but they finally bumped me to 256MB. That was about a year and a half ago. When I transfered into a new department, my new boss bought me a sweet Latitude C840 with 1GB RAM and a P41.8Ghz. Lovin the speed now!

EDIT: actually it's a VEi8, not a VLi.
