After getting a verbal confirmation from my next company I put in my 2 weeks.

However, it seems that there is one snafu that is hold them back from putting things in writing. They haven't contacted my references yet and said they can't have me sign an offer letter before they do. way to go. :frown:

edit: everything worked out. Yay... now 2 weeks of neffing!

I don't like to mention company names. I used to do support/pre-sales/professional services... as least that's what the job description was. However I mostly ended up doing support.

At my new company <crosses fingers>, software engineer.
 
dude references are easy, just put a friends number and have them answer it as 'company X how can i help you' and be like 'yeah he's good, no absences and he gave us 2 week notice, bye'
